My story

I spent over 20 years working in the world of accounting, banking, and real estate, until I realized that being a stay at home mom was really the job for me. I have 4 beautiful children and one awesome stepson. They like to keep me on my toes and make every day an adventure. They range in age from 17 down to 3. As of the moment we have three teenagers in the house, so there’s always something happening! It’s definitely a different world from the everyday office life, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

I have been married to my amazing husband, Tim, since St. Patrick’s Day of 2015. Together we have gone from a two income family  barely seeing each other because of different shifts (he was a police officer until April 2019) to a one income family. He left the world of law enforcement to pursue running his own online comics and collectibles business. He has done so well with that, that I was able to quit my job to stay at home with my family full time! I started this blog as a way to stay in touch with the world and to offer some of what I have learned about raising a larger family on a single income.
